Time frame

October 2006 - February 2007

One of the highlight exhibits in the “Everyday Chemistry” section of BASF’s Visitor Center is the scent organ. Visitors can smell synthetic and natural aromas, learning by multi-sensory experiences some fundamentals about the chemical nature of fragrances.

Pumping by hand causes the stream of air to pass over the fragrance sample and through a flexible smelling hose to reach the visitor’s nose.

Idea, conception, exhibit design, exhibition texts and graphics, execution planning, quality assurance during realization.
